What we collect and why
Order requests. When you send an order from the menu we receive the details you type: your name, phone number, delivery address and postcode (for delivery), any notes, and the contents of your order. We use these only to prepare, confirm and deliver your order.
Contact form. When you write to us we receive your name, email address, optional phone number and message, used only to reply.
Your basket. The contents of your docket are stored in your own browser (localStorage) so it survives between pages. It never leaves your device until you choose to send an order.
Cookies. This site sets no tracking or advertising cookies. [TO CONFIRM] The embedded Google Map on the contact page may set its own cookies — see Google's privacy policy.
How long we keep it
[TO CONFIRM] Order emails and messages are kept in the shop's email inbox. A retention period (for example, deleting order emails after 30 days) should be agreed and stated here.
Sharing
We do not sell or share your details. Orders sent by WhatsApp go through WhatsApp (Meta) under its own privacy policy; orders sent by email travel through our email provider.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what information we hold about you, ask for a copy, and ask us to correct or delete it. Email przemyslaw@dumanchippy.co.uk. You can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
